Horrific experience!
This app is quite buggy and the engineers behind it don’t really care. After using the online software for a few weeks I wanted to download the invoices for our monthly subscription. It did not work, started loading, then just stopped and nothing happened. After a few attempts in different browsers I wrote to customer service and a nice guy helped me out by sending me the invoices and escalating the case. This is where this ride started… someone who introduced themselves as an Senior Care Support Specialist started jerking me around for two day...
Read mores after saying the engineering team “were able to login and found out that we can be able to download the subscription invoice from our end”. He made me change all kind of settings in chrome and wanted me to try the same download on as many devices as possible, after I sent him 12 videos of me not being able to download on 3 laptops, 4 browsers and one mobile device he today suggested that I create another user and try it with that user. That user could not even login using the link from the invitation email… at that point I really lost my patience, and he received a strongly worded email once again suggesting that this is an engineering issue. And here comes the best part, I remembered to inspect the website to see what happens while I’m trying to download the invoice… as I assumed it was an engineering issue. Today I learned that every browser has a hacker protection, something called CORS policy, it prevents unrelated websites from pulling certain data from your cookies. As one website puts it: “In simple statement: If request is not coming from same domain or origin, just simply ignore it. This is very important features which prevents hacking and resource stealing without owners’s knowledge.” So, QB’s engineers not building their site properly basically made it so that every browser I used would block my request for my safety! Now, hours after I sent them the screenshot of the actual issue the Senior Care Support Specialist has not responded. This is just horrific for a company that deals with so much sensitive information to be this lacking in knowledge of basic internet security protocols.- 2 reviews
Decades long QB trainer, user and supporter who is now hating the product.
The current online offering is not a patch on the desktop version. This would not be a problem if the company had its old ethic of customer service and fixing known issues reasonably promptly. I have trained hundreds of users on Quickbooks and recommended/sold to many more. I can no longer recommend QB to anyone as they are simply after monthly revenue and providing nothing more than they think they can get away with. I would love to be able to recommend a replacement/better product however have never had a need to do so.

QuickBooks Rip Off
I am in my 12 month of a 12 month subscription with QuickBooks which I use within my small business.
At the 10 month point in my subscription I received notice that they would be charging an additional fee per month for something I had already paid for as an inclusion in my subscription, it’s not a lot of money but the principal is I have already prepaid a 12 month subscription and I’ve no been arguing with them for 6 weeks and none of there staff see an issue with them adding fee’s for products included in my existing subscription, it’s scary when such a large company doesn’t understand ethical behaviour and direct debit theft.

Terrible support
Started off being a great bit of software but then had many glitches following updates and more expensive subscriptions. Contacted support for an issue with bank statements and was advised to delete a few things. Ended up screwing my whole system and was not able to do a restore (like the old days) to fix the problem. Needed to pay an accountant to fix this. Tried to get support again for small issues, but discovered the "consultant" was having three other chats after I queried why this little fix was taking so long. Horrible service, clunky software, feeling ripped off.

quickbooks is sh#t
I have had constant difficulties trying to do basic things. This software is just so unneccessarily complex and clunky for small business. STAY AWAY. Unless you want to feel like smashing your computer everytime you do anything on QB. Waste of money!
Quickbooks ditching desktop app
As per previous recent comments, the price has been increasing, now charging per employee, and now as of 30th April ditching support for the App. I'm definitely looking around for a new accounting platform.

Time wasting system that doesn't work with your banking statements, no customer service, trouble logging in every time
Their new system only uploads statement from what ever of your accounts it likes, but never all of the ones it used to. Tells you to print out authorization forms, they never accept them, so have to pay a book keeper to upload statements, then things seem to double up (as I have no idea how). Their contact is never open. Constantly have trouble with logging on now it tells me that we have no account, which is crap as its paid for in advance. I'm leaving and going to Xero on the accountants advice. NO customer service at all!!!
Increasing Price taking loyal and existing customers for a ride!
Quickbook informed from April 1st, 2021 they are now billing an EXTRA $5 per employee PLUS an increase monthly charge. AND then they give some poor excuse that they're bringing better features? And they have to pay a world class support team in Philippines... that's an Oxymoron. You're building software and selling air. Please don't insult our intelligence. You're only increasing the price to fill investors and directors pockets. At the very least, you could have grandfathered existing customers into their current rate plans and then lifted pricing for new customers. That would be respectful. Outrageously poor software anyway. I'm going to Xero. BYEEEE .
An absolute joke
Don't even bother. Once you sign up at their rate, they then send you notification that charges are increasing. Impossible to get bank feeds connected because they keep telling you to resend the same form.
Support refuses to acknowledge your questions or help with anything. Definitely cancelling.

Poor support, unaccountable for integrations not working
Initially impressed with the new features such as bank feeds on QBO after using the old QB for many years. Now after two years, I am finding glitches. Support is unhelpful and unaccountable. The integration with Paypal looked initially to be a great feature for ease of invoice payment, and has been popular with clients. However it has proved a nightmare to reconcile payments, with insufficient information being fed through by Paypal, and QB taking no responsibility. I cannot recommend Quickbooks at this point, and am considering switching to Xero Accounting. Changing over though is a time consuming nuisance. Please QB lift your game!

Terrible customer service and lacking very basic features
I wanted to switch from Quickbooks simple start to self-employed, as the price was going to close to double. I contacted support and they said there was NO import/export feature, even when switching to another product from Quickbooks. I repeatedly told the representative how frustrating this was, and the best solution they gave me was manual data entry of thousands of invoices/customer records or keep paying whatever they ask until their developers add the import/export functionality which would be "soon" with no timeline they could give me.

Read morertificially locking in customers is a horrible business practice, I would pay twice the price just so I know I'm not supporting Intuit. Highly would NOT recommend Quickbooks, you're better off using free services!Ex Quickbooks trainer, 25 year user & simply hate the online version
The online version is not a shadow of the desktop version with key areas such as the ability to customise invoice templates or craft a useful COA completely not user friendly. I used to sell and support the product and could have been described as a Quickbooks Fanboy.
Other reviewers have indicated that support is hopeless which is true and more concerning is the fact that despite Intuit indicating they are listening to user feedback and improving the product this is simply not true as nothing meaningful changes.
Like most software companies today they are more about getting users locked into their offering, paying them a monthly fee and offering little in the way of quality or service.

Unreliable, Slow, Illogical and Totally Devoid of Anything Resembling customer service
I have a security token in association with my bank account. The token code generated needs to be input when Quickbooks connects with my bank to update the feeds. REGULARLY I get the conflicting error messages, "Connection complete, [update] DONE" followed by "0 of 1 accounts updated successfully". End result is no update actually done. Happens randomly, but haven't been able to even look at it as there's no one to talk to, and no replies to my support requests. Customer Service with regard to Slowbooks is non-existent. If you'd like help available with your software avoid this like the plague or coronavirus

Turdible Customer Service & Website
I was just trying to give them my money and now I'm sad + mad.
Whilst trying to sign up, I wasn't able to make the purchase at the discounted rate that was advertised so I reached out for help. I was in contact with FOUR representatives before waiting on hold for ten minutes and then giving up (while I was waiting, I came here to see if my experience was shared... I should have come here to begin with).
I've been using Quickbooks Self-Employed during the free trial period and have noticed the system is clunky; notifications to do things I've ...
Read morealready done, sorted transactions not saving. I thought Quickbooks was an affordable/reputable solution and that surely these flaws would work themselves out but nope. I'm out. Don't waste your time with this stoopid company.Worst Accounting System on the Market - You're Better with Freeware
This has to be the single most disappointing subscription that I have had the misfortune of purchasing ever. Buggy, restrictive and actually works against you. Bank Reconciliation process - forget it
